The Island of Anticosti is situated in the heart of the Gulf of the St. Lawrence, and is 222 km. long by about 56 km. wide. Its population is concentrated in a single village, Port Menier, located to the west on the Island. Anticosti Island is part of the Côte-Nord region in the Province of Québec. |
